Certain programs may require prerequisite skills or knowledge specific to entry-level courses required for that major, additional entrance requirements, academic requirements, and procedures. Programs may be accredited by professional or technical organizations that may require certain minimum standards for entrance into a program in that field. Bachelor of Science in Nursing – RN to BSN Program Requirements
In addition to applicable general requirements for admission into the BSN Degree Program RN-BSN applicants are required to have:
• Completed an associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
• Met the requirements to take the NCLEX exam, met the other requirements for obtaining an active unencumbered RN license to practice as a registered nurse in the U.S., and met the other requirements for admission to the RN-BSN program
NOTE: Prospective students who reside outside of the state of Utah and who are interested this online program which lead to professional licensure are expected to inquire with the appropriate licensing agency in their home state, prior to beginning the program in order to assure that the program is
approved to provide the desired licensure.
