Our BSN students are qualified to take the NCLEX after their fifth semester (in just 20 months), can begin their careers as registered nurses, and then, finish the remainder of their BSN degree online. “Nursing is one of the most respected and largest health care professions. Nurses work independently and collaboratively to nurture others in a variety of settings, which requires a broad base of knowledge and skill. During their time in Ameritech’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, students will obtain a solid foundation in liberal arts and sciences as well as the art and science of nursing. This foundation will allow students to build effective communication and collaboration skills to provide safe, quality care as they start their nursing careers. The faculty and staff in the BSN program are dedicated to the Future of Nursing. Our accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed to get students in, out, and on to work as quickly as possible. The program enables students to sit for the NCLEX examination after the 5th semester, which, upon passing, will enable students to begin their careers as registered nurses just over halfway through the program.The program provides students with the opportunity to learn through theory and practical applications how to be professional nurse leaders in caring for clients, families, and communities. Students are taught through lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Additionally, the BSN program utilizes complex human patient simulators to enhance clinical and critical thinking skills.

The program consists of 34 courses which provide foundational knowledge needed for the nursing profession, as well as courses that integrate holistic nursing care. As one of the highest performing and rigorous nursing colleges in Utah, our curriculum, program delivery, and skilled faculty prepare graduates to pass the NCLEX-RN and enter the field as competent and confident registered nurses.
