We don’t sacrifice academic outcomes for speed. That’s why year-in and year-out, Ameritech has one of the highest NCLEX pass rates in Utah, with scores consistently above state and national levels. In 2019, 91.18% of Ameritech nursing students passed their exam the first time vs. the Utah average of 84.87%1 and the National average of 88.18%.2

To help our nursing students gain the hands-on skills needed to succeed in the healthcare field, our Draper campus now features the Joyce Johnson Center of Simulation—packed with the latest medical technology including high-fidelity robotic patient mannequins, life-like synthetic cadavers, and realistic clinical environments.

Our nursing program offers three enrollment periods annually, with the next start date being August 31st. Given high-demand for the program, we recommend that you apply as early as possible.

Our accelerated nursing program is designed to get students in, out, and on to work as quickly as possible. Recognized as one of the highest-performing and most rigorous nursing programs in Utah, the curriculum and program delivery prepares graduates to pass the NCLEX-RN and enter the field as competent and confident registered nurses. The program provides students with the opportunity to learn through theory and practical applications how to be professional nurse leaders in caring for clients, families, and communities. Students are prepared for a career in nursing through lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Additionally, the nursing program utilizes a complex human patient simulator to enhance clinical and critical thinking skills.

When I was searching for a nursing school, Ameritech seemed like the best option, as the accelerated program would get me working as a nurse to support my family in the shortest amount of time possible. Now that I’m a couple semesters into the program, I have to say that I am very happy with my decision. I’ll be a nurse very quickly, and the education that I’m receiving is excellent.
